From a young age, girls are encouraged to measure themselves by the way they look, and not by their creativity or curiosity to learn and explore.
We see these girls grow up idolising the fashion industry. In runway shows, catalogues, commercials and all over social media, models radiate confidence and style, showing us what is cool.
But our experience has taught us that being a model is more than looking pretty. It is a serious job that requires hard work, dedication, and a stressful lifestyle. As a model you also have to deal with a lot of rejection, which often leads models to be extremely critical, to self-doubt and to have feelings of anxiety.
Through Model For Models we want to guide models, aspiring models and women all over the world, how to cope with the pitfalls of the fashion industry - and of our lives in general. In our coaching sessions and workshops, we embrace aspects from modelling that can help us overcome these challenges - like posing, catwalk and the entrepreneurial side of being a model.
By learning from our shared experiences, both personal and professional, we hope to create a community that is supportive, compassionate and joyful.
Our common goal is to inspire women everywhere to take responsibility for their own personal development and work towards their biggest ambitions and dreams. We believe that everyone is maJESStic and we at Model For Models encourages you to discover it!

A creative centipede with the longest legs you’ve ever seen. Jessica started to work as a model when she finished high school and travelled the world of fashion. Now back on the block, Jessica has a University degree in social and cultural development which inspired her to found Model For Models in 2015. After having worked with some of the best teams in the world while living in Paris, Jessica decided to move back to Amsterdam. She is currently making a documentary about ‘ethnic equality in fashion’. She’s also a writer; as featured in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and travels the globe for hand-picked modelling jobs.
